Savings Goals Tracker
Enter up to 10 savings goals with target amount, what you have saved so far and the target date. The file shows the progress of each goal and how much to set aside every month to get there on time.

What's inside
Linked sheets, with instructions on the first sheet.
A worked example
In the example there are two goals: an emergency fund of 10,000 by the end of 2027 and a summer holiday of 2,400 by June 2027.
Example data in the file, there to overwrite. Months left count from today's date, so the monthly amount changes as time passes.
| Target, both goals | 12,400.00 |
| Saved so far | 3,100.00 |
| Still needed | 9,300.00 |
| Progress | 25% |
| Needed per month | 760.71 |

Questions
What are sinking funds?
Money set aside a bit every month for a known future expense: a holiday, a new laptop, Christmas, car repairs. Each goal here works that way.
Is this part of the Budget Planner 2027?
Yes: it is the savings goals sheet of it, sold on its own. The full Budget Planner 2027 also has the monthly budget, transactions, debts and bills.
Will anything be posted to me?
